Hat Makers At It Again!
Once a month (on a Saturday), volunteers meet at church to cut fabric, pin fabric and/or sew -- making hats and scarves for distribution - with Christ's love - to homeless and low-income people.
In 2008, over 1,100 hats were made and distributed. An additional 234 hats were made and will be distributed this year. Our goal for 2009 is 1,000!
Join us next time - for fun, good conversa- tion - and DOING GOOD!
Participants on Saturday, January 10th:
- Sophie B. - cutter, runner, scarf maker
- J. Hart - raw materials, publisher
- C. Kienietz-Hall - cutter
Others who usually come include D. Sorenson - pinner.
