Who We Are

We recognize our calling, both as individuals and as the church, to live in the world:

Ministering to the needs of the world.

Contributing to the welfare of all.

Being enriched by those aspects of culture
that help to make human life more human.

Working through institutions and supporting laws that reflect
God's just and loving purposes for  the world.

Seeking justice and liberation for all.

This is the challenge of the United Church of Christ.

Our Defining Values

We welcome all people to join us, regardless of circumstance, prior church connection, or current level of growth in the Christian faith.

We are an "open and affirming" congregation of the United Church of Christ, welcoming all people into our community of Christian faith.  We seek to become more open and affirming of all without regard to their gender, race, skin color, marital status, class, national origin, age, physical condition, mental ability, or sexual orientation.

We welcome to our congregation all who seek to understand and follow a Christian way of life and to become a part of our congregation's life.

Our Purpose

      To worship God

To preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to celebrate the
      Sacraments

To realize Christian fellowship and unity with this church and
      the church universal

To render loving service toward all people

And to strive for righteousness,  justice and peace
